There's a lot to like about this radio. I recently took it on a backpacking trip on the Superior Hiking Trail and used it daily. Whether for tunes around the campfire or picking up weather reports (the weather was horrible)

Pros: The battery life is great. I never inserted the extra 3 AAA batteries into the radio because I didn't want the extra weight, but the battery on this device never died. I would set it in the sunlight in the morning and that seemed to be enough to keep it charged. Despite being in a remote area, I was still able to pick up a lot of radio stations (I only used FM). The weather bands were clear, and I was able to get info on systems that were passing through, along with temperatures.

Cons: The tuner is slightly off on this device. For example, if I was trying to find 92.5 FM, it was more like 94. This wasn't a huge deal because there is plenty of room at the end of the dial, so you still get the full range of frequency.

Overall, I really like this radio and am glad I purchased it. It came in very handy while camping, especially one night when we found out severe lightning was moving in. I would definitely recommend it!
